Is the Vacation Property I see on the Internet the one I get?

Yes, we rent the specific property you see in full detail on our website. We believe that this is the only way to ensure your complete satisfaction with your accommodation.

Making a Reservation Online

With the Great Escapes Vacation Homes online reservation system you are able to:
•    Make Reservations and Payments Online
•    Request an Early/Late Arrival and/or Departure Time

What is required to make a reservation?

When you find the property of your choice you can either book the property online or call us at 1-888-393-4058. When making your reservation we require a 50% deposit. The remaining balance is processed 30 days prior to check-in. 

When is check-in & check-out time?

Most properties will be available for Check-in at 4:00pm Eastern Standard Time. An early check-in can be coordinated for an additional fee. If the property has a check-out the day of your arrival we will not be able to coordinate an early check-in.
Check out time is 10:00 am. A vacation home requires more time to clean than a hotel room.

Do you offer Travel Insurance?

We do not offer travel insurance, but we do have alternatives available to keep you from suffering from unforeseen events.

Cancellation and No Refund Policy

Cancellation after confirmation of booking results in forfeiture of any and all collected money, except the guest's security deposit and cleaning fee (if applicable) if full payment has been made. However, after cancellation for any reason, if a portion of the rental time is re-booked at the same rate, a pro-rata refund will be made for those dates re-booked. All refunds of rental services payments whether complete or pro-rata will be subject to a $50 cancellation fee.


How will I receive my confirmation and arrival instructions from GREAT ESCAPES?


All confirmation and arrival instructions will be sent via email. To make certain you receive these emails, please adjust your spam filter to add the domain info@greatescapescabins.com  to your list of accepted email addresses. You will receive a reservation confirmation including directions and arrival instructions via email within minutes of making your reservation.  If you have not received these emails, please contact us at 1-800-243-3174.

Is there shopping nearby?

Yes, there are many shops and restaurants within 1-10 miles of all of our properties.

How many people are allowed to stay in each home?

Occupancy may not exceed what is posted for each home. Maximum occupancy includes infants and children. Please check the occupancy information provided for the unit you are interested in as several units have lower maximum occupancies than what is stated below.

The following outlines the general maximum occupancy for each home, unless otherwise posted:

  • 1 bedrooms sleep maximum of 4
  • 2 bedrooms sleep maximum of 6
  • 3 bedrooms sleep maximum of 8

Is there air conditioning?

Yes, all of our Vacation Homes have air conditioning.

Is there a fully equipped kitchen in all Vacation Homes?

Yes, every Vacation Property has a fully equipped kitchen including:

Refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, blender, coffee maker, toaster, pots & pans, dishes, glasses, silverware and cooking utensils, iron and ironing board, vacuum cleaner, broom, and dust pan.

Is there a telephone in the Vacation Home?


Yes, there is a telephone in every unit. Most units have free local and US/Canada long distance calls. The telephone number to the property is given with your directions and arrival instructions.

Are linens and towels provided?

Yes, there are linens and towels provided in each Vacation Property. All bedding is provided and towels are supplied.

Are the Vacation Homes cleaned daily?

No, the vacation home is cleaned before your arrival and after your departure. You can request a Mid-stay Clean at an additional charge, generally $60 for 1-bedrooms, $80 for 2-bedrooms and $100 for 3-bedrooms. A Mid-stay Clean includes: changing linens and towels, cleaning all bathrooms, kitchen area, vacuum and dusting, sweeping and mopping and refreshing your starter paper products.

Are there cleaning supplies?

Basic cleaning supplies are provided, and there is a washer/dryer (except in studios), mop, broom, dustpan, vacuum, dishwasher (except in studios), iron and ironing board in the property. There are starter paper products, however you will be responsible for replenishment thereafter.

Are the properties Non-Smoking?

Yes, all of our properties are strictly Non-Smoking. 

What is the difference between Premium, Superior and Deluxe Vacation Homes?

Premium Vacation Homes provide the ultimate in luxury, size, comfort, and location. These units feature spacious floor plans, state-of-the-art electronics like large screen TVs, the latest video game systems, computers with high speed & Wi-Fi Internet access and more, and are located in the most desirable complexes/locations. Most feature granite counters, stainless steel appliances, and upgraded flooring.

Luxury Vacation Homes include highly upgraded units with stylish décor, including large flat screen TVs in all rooms, and are located in very desirable complexes/locations. 

Deluxe Vacation Homes are nicely upgraded units that may feature more basic properties or complex grounds/amenities or interior upgrades– these are usually a fantastic value, and even our lowest-rated units are very nicely upgraded, and all are in desirable buildings/locations.

All of our properties are exceptional and are amongst the nicest units being offered in their respective areas/complexes.
